MELLISSA BOGGS, SPHR – VICE PRESIDENT, HR AND CONSULTING
Mellissa Boggs, SPHR, has over 17 years of management and Human Resources experience and received her B.A. from Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana.
After graduation, Mellissa moved to the Indianapolis area where she started her career. She spent the first three years in the retail industry, in management. She then joined Indiana National Bank through their management-training program. She continued her banking experience with First of America Bank as a Branch Manager and site trainer. Mellissa then moved into the Professional Employer Organization (PEO) industry, working for three different companies in Indianapolis as a Human Resources Manager then VP of HR and Consulting. While with these organizations, she worked with clients to handle their human resources needs and to solve labor issues that arose. She also helped administer payroll, benefits, and workers' compensation.
Since joining Quantum Mellissa has worked closely with clients to help them enhance their work environments and address their diverse human resources issues. She has provided extensive training in the areas of management leadership, sexual harassment, and what it means to be an Employer of Choice.
Mellissa has served on various client retention committees and diversity groups. She has continued her excellence in the human resource profession by attaining her Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) designation. For the last ten years she has been actively involved with the Human Resource Association of Central Indiana (HRACI), as well as an active member of the Society of Human Resource Managers (SHRM). Additionally, she is involved in Vistage (formerly TEC), and is a volunteer, committee co-chair and board member at Kiwanis Club of Indianapolis. Ms.Boggs also acts as a mentor for a number of young professionals at Training Inc., where she is a volunteer and board member.
